The Citizenship by Investment Unit (“The Unit”) wishes to inform all interested parties of upcoming changes to the minimum legislative prices for qualifying investment options, effective July 1, 2024. These adjustments align with the Memorandum of Agreement signed between the five OECS territories operating Citizenship by Investment Programmes. The agreement establishes a minimum investment threshold of USD 200,000.00.
As a signatory to this agreement, Saint Lucia will implement the following changes effective July 1, 2024:
Option 1: National Economic Fund
- Applicant applying with up to three qualifying dependents: USD 240,000.00
- Each additional qualifying dependent (under 18 years of age): USD 10,000.00
- Each additional qualifying dependent (above 18 years of age): USD 20,000.00
- Newborn child of a citizen who is 12 months or below: USD 5,000.00
- Spouse of a citizen: USD 35,000.00
- Qualifying dependants of a citizen other than a spouse: USD 25,000.00
Option 2: Approved Real Estate Project
- Applicant and any number of qualifying dependents: USD 300,000.00 plus applicable administration fees
Option 3: Approved Enterprise Project
- Applicant applying with up to three qualifying dependents: USD 250,000.00 plus applicable administrative fees
These changes are made to ensure compliance with the regional standards set by the OECS and to maintain the integrity and competitiveness of our Citizenship by Investment Programme.
